The Australia data integration market covers the software, cloud services and managed services used to extract, move, transform, replicate and synchronise data between applications, databases, warehouses and lakehouses. It spans extract, transform and load tools, data pipelines, integration platform as a service, application programming interface management, change data capture and event streaming, and serves banks, agencies, hospitals, retailers and carriers.
In 2025, the market is valued at AUD 1150.00 million and is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 11.50%, reaching AUD 3415.44 million by 2035. Growth is driven by the national push for AI-ready data, local hosting of integration platforms and tighter government data sharing.

2026-2035
The Australia data integration market is moving from batch jobs towards governed, near-real-time pipelines that feed analytics and AI. Large buyers want one trusted data layer across several clouds, and they now expect that layer to run onshore under Australian security assessments.
Three forces are shaping the market: sovereignty, as vendors open Sydney and Melbourne instances for regulated buyers; AI readiness, as lakehouse platforms fund local teams; and consolidation, as global software groups buy integration and streaming specialists. Public data assets such as the ABS person-level and business-level linked datasets also show how far linked data now informs policy.
In November 2025 Salesforce completed its purchase of Informatica, and in March 2026 IBM completed its purchase of Confluent. In May 2026 Databricks pledged AU$420 million for Australia and New Zealand, and in August 2026 MuleSoft reached general availability on a local Australian region.
The market is shifting from standalone extract, transform and load tooling towards unified platforms that combine pipelines, application integration, governance and streaming for AI workloads. Data integration software and pipelines lead in value, while streaming and replication advance fastest as buyers move to near-real-time use cases. Public cloud holds the largest share of deployments, yet sovereign and private cloud options gain ground in regulated sectors. Banking leads by industry, and government grows quickest as agencies link data across jurisdictions. New South Wales remains the largest region, and Queensland grows quickest on health, resources and public sector programs. Onshore hosting, platform consolidation and local investment by global vendors point to a durable build-out rather than a short cycle.

IBM completed the Confluent purchase in March 2026, and Boomi opened a Sydney instance in July 2025.
Onshore Hosting Becomes a Buying Condition
Regulated buyers increasingly require integration platforms to keep data and control planes within Australia, so global vendors are localising their services. Banks, hospitals and agencies reward vendors that carry government security assessments.
